SafetyID works without a subscription. Your kit includes a digital emergency profile you can update anytime.
Plus is optional. It turns that profile into a real-time safety system: more visibility when a tag is scanned, more privacy control, and room to protect your whole household.
Subscribe in the SafetyID app — Plus is billed in the app, not at store checkout.

- Instant scan alerts when a tag is scanned

- Approximate location on each scan
- Fine-grained privacy — choose what appears on the public profile, including name visibility, names, medical info, and SMS or email gated access
- Contact permission flows so helpers can request access when a profile is locked
- Unlimited members (Standard is limited to 5)

- Unlimited Nest / guardian access so trusted adults can help manage the account (Standard is the account holder only)

Plans and pricing
- Plus Monthly — $4.99 / month
- Plus Annual — $48.00 / year (save 20%)
You can switch between monthly and annual in Account Settings after you subscribe.
How to subscribe
Plus is purchased in the SafetyID family app at app.safetyid.me. It is not added at Shopify checkout.
- Go to app.safetyid.me/settings
- Sign in, or create an account if you don’t have one yet
- Open Account Settings
- Under Manage Plus Subscription, choose monthly or annual billing
- Tap Upgrade to Plus Monthly or Upgrade to Plus Annual and complete payment
Payment is handled by Stripe. SafetyID does not store your card number.
After you subscribe
- Your Plus features stay active through the current billing period
- Cancel anytime in Account Settings — cancellation stops future billing at the next renewal and does not refund the current period
- You can update your payment method, switch plans, or keep a subscription that was set to cancel
- Your personal 10% store discount code appears in Account Settings once billing sync completes
QR scanning, tag activation, and a basic emergency profile remain available on Standard with no subscription required.
